Blog Now!

Hot chocolate is my friend.  Do they make sugar free hot chocolate that doesn't taste like garbage?  Sugar this late at night is probably not in my best interest.

It snowed on this side of the mountain tonight.  I am not really a fan of this side of the mountain.  I understand its an entirely different biome than the one I grew up in.  It was 18 degrees Fahrenheit when I left for work this morning.

No work tomorrow.  Or Monday.  Who wants a real, honest to goodness Christmas card this year?  I think I am going to go out tomorrow, assuming it doesn't snow anymore, and get a box of Christmas cards.  I was too busy being depressed last year to do Christmas cards, but I am in a significantly better state of mind this time around, despite the snow.  I can't believe it is December already.

An open letter to my dear friend Athena, who I think still reads my Xanga:  I was filling in important dates on my 2009 calendar this afternoon and it occurred to me that I totally flaked on your birthday.  No Myface/Spacebook comment, no card, no phone call, nothin'.  I suck.  So shippy happy flippy flappy belated birthday!

Hello Ms. Jammie,
You made your site simple yet elegant. The pictures are a nice touch. You may be surprised to know that the early Christians did not celebrate Christmas because they considered the custom to be a pagan one in honor of many gods, such as Jupiter and Saturn. It still is today!
I like to write articles about God and religion on my site. I want to help people to really get to know God, especially in these troubled times. The Bible has an important message for us: "On that day of judgment," says the LORD, "I will punish the leaders...
and all those following pagan customs." (Zephaniah 1:8) (NLT)
